Warmth and mind peace are the moods to which this Persian rug can add strength. The green background is overwhelming and refreshing in the same time. The feeling of warm is provided through the different shades of red which are used all over the Persian rug's decorations. This Persian rug also has blue and navy in its color scheme but those are barely noticed due to the widely used red and green. The main border ivory is used for a better framing of the central image. The ornaments are Persian style characteristic. The four corners of the Persian rug's field are decorated with two flower crowns. The inner one is designed with blue and it's surrounded by the bigger one which is mostly red. Observing the high details of these ornaments can be a real pleasure for the eye.
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
