"This Persian rug's layout is all over, this however doesn't affect in any way the provided image. Notice the thin shaped flowers from the picture. Being worked on an ivory background, the colors used in the contours feature darker shades proving the designers skills. Lotus, Peony and Pomegranate flower are studded around the image of the Persian rug and they are symbols of rebirth, of power and fertility. The borders are decorated with the same flowers motifs while the background color differs. The main border uses a very nice orange for the above mentioned floral decorations."
Tabriz Rugs
The rugs manufactured in the city of Tabriz also are of great finesse. Their predominant colors are red, blue and ivory. They offer strong contrasts in the rug’s image but also inspire serenity and beauty. Most are hand-knotted on a soft cotton foundation using a combination of wool and silk.
