In front of us is a pictorial design Persian rug with a navy background and beautiful color scheme. The field's image shows a vase with flowers surrounded by ivory which is meant to emphasize the flower vase. Each of the two edges of the Persian rug is also decorated with a vase full of flowers which covers the Persian rug's main border which features the same ornaments. The roses from the design symbolizes passion and in the same time innocence. Throughout the image birds ornaments appear colored in beautiful shades.
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
