"The main background color of this Persian rug is blue. The design is medallion and the main border has an orange background. Inside the medallion we find roses, symbols of avid passion, which are colored in shades of red and blue. The lotus, Peony and Pomegranate flowers, as symbols of rebirth, power and fertility, are also present. The borders are richly decorated with motifs gracefully arranged in the picture of the Persian rug."
Tabriz Rugs
The rugs manufactured in the city of Tabriz also are of great finesse. Their predominant colors are red, blue and ivory.
