"Featuring an unmatched beauty, this Persian rug has a great overview, where the contrast between the main border's and field's background is very well designed. We are dealing with an ivory background framed by a red of exuberant joy. The layout is medallion filled in shades of dark red, gray, blue and beige. Each flower outlines is accurately designed. On the main border we notice flowers that appear so often, namely Lotus, Peony or pomegranate and iris flowers as symbols of religious freedom. The overall picture transmits a sense of relaxation, both physical and psychical. The Persian rug expresses a simple naturalness, but in the same time is rich in meaning and symbols."
