The Persian rug's Gombad style transmits spiritual holiness through its mosque inspired theme. This image represents the inner dome of a mosque. It is painted in a variety of colors but at the same time forwards the idea of sobriety and piety for the represented holly location. The multitude of details emphasizes the designer's skills and the Persian rug's quality. Its pile is made entirely of silk and wool and the foundation is cotton. Tabriz Rugs
The rugs manufactured in the city of Tabriz also are of great finesse. Their predominant colors are red, blue and ivory.
