"We have here a true masterpiece from the Iranian city of Tabriz. No wonder this city is one of the oldest and most famous centers of Persian carpets in the world. The field's ivory background is framed with the rust borders which match the rusty medallion. The flowers outlines have beautiful dark and bright red shades, all inviting to an open mind and a spring inspired joy. Note that the border's flower decorations exceed the borders area gracefully surrounding the pomegranate flowers."
Tabriz Rugs
The rugs manufactured in the city of Tabriz also are of great finesse. Their predominant colors are red, blue and ivory.
