The beautiful image of this Persian rug combines lively nature inspired colors. In its allover design center the Mina-Khani motif is applied. Its margins are completed with intensely colored pomegranate flowers. The Persian rug's main border has a beige colored background while the doubled inner and outer borders feature blue and black backgrounds. Blue is also used for the floral and foliage ornaments. It is a bright chilling color full of symbols for Persian Persian rugs designing.
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
