"This Persian rug is designed using powerful rich colors which send a great wave of energy toward the viewer. The medallion design compiles colors like bold red, blue and ivory. The field's floral ornaments are wonderfully outlined and colored with lively dynamic colors. The corners of the field are generally blue with ivory inserts. The inner and outer borders are doubled and feature the same color scheme. The main border is ivory and is ornate with iris, lotus and pomegranate flowers lively tinted with a pure blue shade."
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
