"This Persian rug's image is absolutely perfect concerning both its color scheme and the image provided. Over the navy background beautifully colored floral motifs are applied. Bright, nature inspired colors are used like blue for example which is predominant through the Persian rug's image. This color symbolizes solitude but also power and force all these completing the idea of afterlife. The medallion design is tinted in ivory and contains lotus flowers and roses in the center. The flowers color scheme is either blue with navy outlines either pink and outlined with dark red."
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
