"The design of this Persian rug is allover but we notice the central image showing a rosette flower framed by other floral motifs, which conveys the idea of spring. The navy background is framed by the brightness provided through the main border ivory. Peony and pomegranate flowers appear throughout the image, filled with cheerful colors, bringing a tinge of joy to the Persian rug's image. These flowers are symbols of fertility. With Persian Persian rugs, symbols have a great power and are very important. Note that the border's decorations exceed their area. The shade of green that was used for border's decorations is one which conveys the idea of spring, youth and a new beginning."
Tabriz Rugs
