"Wool and silk are combined in this Persian rug's pile for displaying such detailed decorations. The rosette motif in the center is featuring four concentric circles of different colors and graphics. From inside out we can distinguish the following colors: navy, brown, ivory and light blue. These colors are also present within the Mina-khani decorations used for the space around the rosette. The beautiful shade of light blue is framing the Persian rug's field contributing to all three border's design. This large sized Persian rug can easily match a room whose walls are painted using light shades like beige, white, pale yellows or ivory."
Nain Rugs
The rugs produced in the region of Nain are also very popular. They feature a specific design with an ivory or blue background. The central medallion colors matches the background but also the motifs used inside the rug.
