"One particular element for this Persian rug is represented by the multitude of floral motifs. The navy field creates a beautiful contrast with the ivory borders. This mixture induces a feeling of warmth and luminosity. A perfect match is made between the different hues of blue which color the rosette designed medallion and the brown and ivory used for the leafs and flowers decorations. The idea of power is provided both through the use of brown and navy and the lanceolate leafs and peony flower motifs. The main border presents a higher density of decoration motifs, than the inner and outer borders. Like all Nain style Persian rugs, this one is also an amazing work of art."

The rugs produced in the region of Nain are also very popular. They feature a specific design with an ivory or blue background. The central medallion colors matches the background but also the motifs used inside the rug. Older rugs from this region are very difficult to find but the quality is exceptional, as has always been in this region.
