The feeling of warmth and comfort provided by this Persian rug is almost unique. This effect is obtained thanks to its harmonious color scheme. The Nain style characteristic medallion layout features a beautifully designed rosette motif in the middle. The design's symmetry is perfect and the light blue used all over the Persian rug's surface emphasizes the dark red contoured floral motifs. Each one of the inner and outer borders benefits from two margins which makes them more visible. The main border is decorated with beautiful Shah Abassi motifs.
Nain Rugs
The rugs produced in the region of Nain are also very popular. They feature a specific design with an ivory or blue background. The central medallion colors matches the background but also the motifs used inside the rug. Older rugs from this region are very difficult to find but the quality is exceptional, as has always been in this region.
