"This wool and silk handcrafted Persian rug is of great quality. The navy field's background is complementary with the main border gold color. The inner and outer borders blue color pops in to complete the whole picture. Being designed according to the medallion layout, the Persian rug's field combines shades of light brown and blue for the purpose of creating symmetry. The borders are designed with blue, navy and shades of brown. A few motifs found on this Persian rug design are the lotus and iris flowers. These motifs symbolize immortality and rebirth."
Nain Rugs
The rugs produced in the region of Nain are also very popular. They feature a specific design with an ivory or blue background. The central medallion colors matches the background but also the motifs used inside the rug.
