"The nature inspired colors used throughout this Persian rug's design create a very pleasant view. The navy field and the brown borders are complementary creating harmony. The decorations which create the medallion layout feature brighter colors combined with darker tones for the contours. The medallion's predominant color is ivory. The peony and lotus flowers are not missing as well as the lanceolate leafs. Although the Persian rug has a high density of decorations and details this feature doesn't fatigue the eye but, is rather highly enjoyable."
Nain Rugs
The rugs produced in the region of Nain are also very popular. They feature a specific design with an ivory or blue background. The central medallion colors matches the background but also the motifs used inside the rug. Older rugs from this region are very difficult to find but the quality is exceptional, as has always been in this region.
