"What is obvious about this Persian rug's image is its perfect symmetry. Designed using contrasting colors; the Persian rug's field features a black background and its main border an orange one. Orange is the symbol of piety and humility. The center medallion amazes through its dark red color surrounded by ivory and orange. Peony, pomegranate and lotus flowers are the common decorations found in the image and they symbolizes power, fertility and rebirth. They are very common in Persian carpets designs."
