"This Persian rug of an ivory background includes an extensive variety of natural, bright colors. The main border is beige naturally matching the Persian rug's field background brightness. The medallion is colored in shades of beige, blue, brown and navy, colors that complete the Persian rug's picture. Lotus flowers are colored in blue and red. Palmette flowers have a lot of finesse and are nuanced with tenderness. The main border coloration observed in the flowers and long leaves ornaments, are natural colors and full of hope, of life."
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
