"This Persian rug's bright image is very pleasant, through its applied accurately outlined floral motifs. The Persian rug's design is colored in shades of navy and beige, two contrasting colors which adds naturalness to the Persian rug's image. The Persian rug's main border is beige, while the inner corners are also combined with blue. Pomegranate flowers are painted in blue and navy, with brown spots here and there. These flowers symbolize fertility in Persian Persian rugs design. The leaves decorations surrounding the flowers are brown and are outlined with a much darker shade of the same color."
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
