"Even if the size of this Persian rug is reduced, its quality and beauty are just as good as for any other Tabriz style Persian rug. The Persian rug has a black background which is surrounded by a very bright border that gives a special glow. The design is medallion and its central piece is colored in pink. The flowers outlines are accurate but their colors are rather light than strong, being in accordance with the Persian rug's center. The borders are crossed by floral motifs, offering a very pleasant image."
Tabriz Rugs
The rugs manufactured in the city of Tabriz also are of great finesse. Their predominant colors are red, blue and ivory.
