"The carpet has a red background that contrasts pleasantly with the middle edge of a black background color. The inner and outer borders are golden, illuminating the overall Persian rug's image. The Persian rug's main border is crossed by Shah Abbas motifs, which are floral patterns commonly used in designing Persian Persian rugs. The Persian rug's field medallion perfectly matches the border colors. Outlining is accurate and the gold color is used for this purpose. We notice a fine symmetry which ads aesthetic value to the Persian rug's image."
Tabriz Rugs
The rugs manufactured in the city of Tabriz also are of great finesse. Their predominant colors are red, blue and ivory.
