"The repeated medallion design of this runner Persian rug is beautifully framed by the orange borders. The green Background's naturalness blends with the flowers ornaments found in the image. Green is the color specific to the Prophet Mohammed and is simultaneously a symbol of hope, renewal, life and spring. Usually Persian rugs featuring this color are used in places which are not heavily walked. The borders floral decorations pass over the border's area, gracefully surrounding the Persian rug's field. These decorations are lotus flowers, alternated with roses."
Tabriz Rugs
