"This Persian rug's field image has a red background, full of vitality, joy and serenity. It is perfectly matching the blue border and the ivory color used for the inner corners on top of which blue and dark red colored decorations are placed. The medallion is beige in the center surrounded by navy blue and red outlines. The image is loaded with floral and foliage decorations featuring natural colors such as ivory, navy, beige and green. Bird representations are also present among the flowers applied on the Persian rug. The main border shows an alternation of birds and flowers ornaments colored using chromatically compatible shades."
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
