"The Persian rug's image is very rich in decorations. We have an ivory background over which the medallion design was applied colored with shades of red, blue and beige with navy inserts. The main border color is beige and the floral ornaments crossing it feature a multitude of colors. Each corner of the Persian rug shows a vase of roses each colored with very dark red. The roses symbolize ardent passion when used to decorate Persian Persian rugs. The beige color used inside the image unifies the whole picture of the Persian rug."
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
