"The Persian rug features the allover design and its image is particularly bright thanks to the ivory background. The field is populated by Mina-Khanni motifs and each of the four sides of the Persian rug is decorated with a green logo. The field corners contain the design of a vase filled with roses. The main border shows a gray background color over which the above mentioned logos are drawn. The pomegranate, lotus and Peony flowers are outlined in shades of green surrounded by navy, brown or red while the lanceolate leaves surrounding the floral decorations are using a two colors type design and are symbolizing power."
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
