"The image of this Persian rug is full of flowers and at the same time it has a very varied coloration. The Persian rug's medallion design shows a pleasant ivory background color. The main border is red, a particularly strong color symbolizing faith, luck and joy. The Persian rug's inner corners are blue and feature floral ornaments. The Persian rug's central medallion combines the border background color with the one from the field corners. Note that on the margin the designer placed its signature which is always an authenticity lead."
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
