"This Persian rug has a pictorial design whose image shows a blue background. In the middle of this blue background we can see a vase with colorful flowers outlined in pink and red. Besides the blue background, a green frame is designed within which brown ornaments are drawn. The colors have a major importance representing great symbols with meaningful messages. The main border is beige and filled by floral decorations. Each corner of the Persian rug offers the picture of a flower vase outlined with intense colors. The field corners of the Persian rug also show images of flowers ornaments featuring strong, intense and very natural colors."
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
