"This Persian rug features a reduced size and a rust background image beautifully framed with black and ivory. The borders are not very well delimited, because of the applied floral motifs which exceed them. The field corners light ivory matches the tone of the inner and outer borders. This color adds a spot of light for the general Persian rug's image. The colors used are powerful and bring joy. The lotus flowers and roses outlines are made of silk in combination with wool."
Tabriz Rugs
The rugs manufactured in the city of Tabriz also are of great finesse. Their predominant colors are red, blue and ivory.
