"This small size Persian rug can be used as wall hanging just as a painting. Its design is pictorial in which colors blend naturally and effortlessly. The picture shows a woman wearing a purple dress. We can see that she's sitting under a tree, more precisely the tree of life. This tree has a special symbolism representing the connection between heaven and earth. The woman in the image is playing a harp. On the left of the picture we see tulips, which symbolize prosperity. The nature is surrounding the woman also through the green grass below her. The flowers are pink and red resembling a very natural look."
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
