This Persian rug shows the image of a flowers filled vase. There are four flowers in the vase which are reduced in size and in the middle we find a great logo. The logo is ivory and is outlined with brown. The Persian rug design is pictorial and is displayed on a navy background. On each side of the vase bottom we find a rabbit representation. Analogically on the upper side many birds are painted. On either side of the vase the birds can rest and shelter using the two beautifully designed trees. At the top we find other colorful birds and the trees are loaded with white flowers.
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
