"The pictorial design from the image shows two vases with flowers, one larger and the other one smaller. The bottom vase contains three very dark red roses, along with two other blue flowers. Above the flowers on both sides there is a bird representation. We have several varieties of birds in this image all of them being naturaly colored in vivid hues. The Background is ivory highlighting the intense color scheme of the Persian rug's image. The border also includes flowers and colorful birds ornaments which are of great charm."
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
