"This Mahi Tabriz design Persian rug has a strong and bright color scheme. The field's background is red, one of the most cheerful, lively and dynamic color. It provides an excellent contrast with the main border whose color is the very light ivory. Herati is the motif used throughout the design whose details feature full outlines and finely drawn shapes. The concentric medallions are colored in a way that make them blend with the applied color scheme and are separated by their lacy edges. Middle border is rich in shades of green, as floral motifs found here are very specifically outlined."
Tabriz Rugs
The rugs manufactured in the city of Tabriz also are of great finesse. Their predominant colors are red, blue and ivory.
