"The colors of this carpet are very bright and they are applied using great designing skills. The medallion that constitutes the design of the Persian rug contains colors like blue, beige and gray with patches of red and navy. The leaves are spear type colored beige and ivory with brown and blue contours. The inner corners of the carpet have a very dark shade of beige on top which floral motifs are applied using a remarkable naturalness. The middle rim frames the Persian rug in a sober manner and also pleasantly completes the interior and exterior borders using the color ivory. The picture is very crowded but enjoyable as a whole. #9403"
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
