"The Persian rug's image is a very simple, but worked with great skills. Only the borders, the filed corners and the medallion contain a small amount of decorations the rest of the field being free of any ornaments. The ivory background color brings serenity, feeling that is easily transmitted to the viewer. The central medallion is beige, surrounded by concentric dark and light brown colors. It emerges as a powerful contrast with the background color in a natural way. The wreaths that adorn the borders are colored bright and give a touch of spring."
Tabriz Rugs
The rugs manufactured in the city of Tabriz also are of great finesse. Their predominant colors are red, blue and ivory.
