This small Persian rug impresses thru its color combination. The design is very popular and we see at first glance that it's a medallion design. It is colored in blue and navy. Inside it lotus flowers are painted in shades of ivory and gray with red outline. The middle border has a black background with bright flowers. Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced.
