"This Iranian Tabriz style Persian rug's Mahi design is placed against an ivory background. Brown combined with green creates an interesting mix used for the Persian rug's field. Their symbolism is also matching, brown symbolizing fertility and green being the color of life, spring and hope. These two colors are used for the Herati motifs margins which can be found both in the field and main border. Another chromatic attribute is the brown background of the main border.
