"This pictorial is worked on a navy background using bright and lively colors. We see the picture of a vase with flowers that are are nuanced using ivory with red outlines. In addition there are strains filled with flowers in the same color shade as the ones from the vase. The vase is blue with red outline, a combination of natural and bright colors. The image of the carpet is crowded but it does not tire the eyes. The image is peaceful because it captures a part of nature. Note that carpet quality is very good because it was handmade using 550 KPSI but also from the fact that is worked entirely using wool. Ord#11045"
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
