"This Persian rug presents an image in which we see the medallion design using the same color shade as the Persian rugs border. The pink background is crossed by floral motifs that are colored in blue, ivory and beige. The interior of the medallion is painted in shades of brown and navy. Note that the edge of the carpet is made from floral inlays, no precise borders are drawn in straight lines. The image is airy, but quality handmade design is very good. We have a 550 KPSI workmanship, natural wool on a real silk base. The colors used within the carpet are intense and bright and are perfectly applied within the general picture of the Persian rug. #10475"
Isfahan Rugs
Isfahan has long been one of the most important manufacturing centers for Persian rugs. The rugs here are usually designed using an ivory background and the ornaments are symmetrical and balanced. We find in the central part of the rug a medallion that is surrounded by floral motifs and palmetto leaves. The quality of these rugs is very high and the colors used for the interior motifs are blue, brown, ivory, green and more, all of them featuring an obvious naturalness.
