"An image filled with Herati motifs is highly characteristic for Tabriz style Persian rugs such as this one. Its allover design, over the navy background is contrasting with the borders color scheme. The borders are almost the same size in spite of the usually larger main border. The lanceolate leafs are present and their contours feature a beautiful shade of blue which symbolizes power, strength and solitude. The flower's various shades of green always speak of spring, rebirth, youth and vitality. The bright colors used for the image center feature a great placement which improves their brightening effect."
Tabriz Rugs
