"This Persian rug features a large size and a Gombad design. This design type is specific for Tabriz Persian rugs and its characteristic appearance is a dome's shape. It is inspired by the mosque's ceilings which are designed using stars motifs and a great variety of colors. The background is a combination of multiple colors, each for a certain area, instead of an overall single color. The Persian rug's center area is colored with a sacred gold which implies wealth and power. At the margins a rusty color is found as background of the various mosque parts.
